Adding Audio Effects to a Recording Session
A session can be set to add any Audio Unit plug in. Audio Units are the native plug in format for OS X.
To add an Audio Unit to a WireTap Pro recording session:
- Go to the Window menu and select Recordings Sessions, or press command 2 to open the Recording Sessions window. Click on New to create a new session, or select an existing session and click on Edit.
- Click on the Effects tab.
- Select and add each Audio Unit.
- An Audio Unit can be added and adjusted for each track, or a custom setting can be added and saved using the Custom menu and Plus button.
- Use the LivePreview button to listen to the source audio encoded at the settings you have chosen before you commit to the recording.
- Click on OK to save all of the session settings.
