Adding Audio Effects to a Recording Session

A session can be set to add any Audio Unit plug in. Audio Units are the native plug in format for OS X.

To add an Audio Unit to a WireTap Pro recording session:

  1. Go to the Window menu and select Recordings Sessions, or press command 2 to open the Recording Sessions window. Click on New to create a new session, or select an existing session and click on Edit.
  2. Click on the Effects tab.
  3. Select and add each Audio Unit.
  4. An Audio Unit can be added and adjusted for each track, or a custom setting can be added and saved using the Custom menu and Plus button.
  5. Use the LivePreview™ button to listen to the source audio encoded at the settings you have chosen before you commit to the recording.
  6. Click on OK to save all of the session settings.
